What the first login actually looks like
Checkout is on Shopify. Amounts stay on the S/4HANA 2023 access plans page — this guide does not quote them. Shared plans currently include double access time (1 paid → 2 total; 2 → 4; 3 → 6). One-time charge, no auto-renewal. Dedicated-client is the isolation plan on the same 2023 system.
After payment, the welcome email and the customer portal show your SAP user ID. Open Fiori or SAP GUI for HTML in a browser. If you want classic SAP Logon on Windows, grab the connection file from the portal. Change the initial password when the system asks. Then you are in. Most people are posting in FB50 or opening VA01 the same day. If credentials never arrive or login fails, the clock for a fix or refund/extend is 3 days after credentials land in the portal, not from the checkout click. That is not a change-of-mind return.

You are not installing NetWeaver on a laptop. You are not waiting for a Basis team to create a client. You open the portal, copy the user, paste it into Fiori or GUI for HTML, and the launchpad loads. The same pattern shows up every week: someone opens FB50 and posts a simple document, or they open VA01 because their MM/SD notes still start with a sales order. Then they bounce to a Fiori app for the same object and realise both UIs sit on one tenant. That is the product.
