Why people still search for ECC practice
Job ads lag. Classroom notes lag. Some support contracts are still ECC. So “SAP ECC 6.0 server access” keeps showing up in search. I will not pretend I host that landscape. Hosting a private ECC box for migration-source work is a different product, and it is not on this storefront.

What still clicks if you grew up on ECC
FB50, F-02, ME21N, MIGO, VA01, VL01N — a lot of that muscle memory still works in GUI on 2023. Then you open Fiori and the same document shows up as a tile. That is the point of practising here. Some ECC t-codes were replaced. I do not keep a compatibility list as a product. SAP Help for S/4HANA 2023 is the source for successors.
ABAP is on the same tenant (SE80, debugging). Functional modules are on the same tenant. You do not buy “FI only” as a separate landscape. Dedicated-client is isolation on 2023, not an ECC version switch. Read the beginner guide if you have never bought cloud login before.
